Welcome to
REnew Pacific
Through REnew Pacific, Australia is scaling its support for off-grid renewable energy in rural and remote communities across the Pacific and Timor Leste. The program will partner with non-goverment organisations, the private sector, investors, community organisations and government agencies to deliver off-grid renewable energy solutions that create impact.
The $75 million investment will leverage co-financing and have a sharp focus on locally led, inclusive, and sustainable solutions that build resilience and increase access to clean energy. REnew Pacific will forge new partnerships, scale-up existing and proven approaches, and provide flexible support to unlock new opportunities.
REnew Pacific is part of the Pacific Climate Infrastructure Financing Partnership (PCIFP), a $350million initiative for climate infrastructure in the region, delivered by the Australian Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific.
REnew Pacific was officially launched at COP29 on 16 November. Stay tuned and register your interest below to hear more about partnership opportunities to be announced soon.
