Applications are now open for proposals for off-grid renewable energy solutions that power the Pacific’s remote communities with clean energy for sustainable development.
The REnew Pacific program is now accepting grant proposals for locally-led projects that will improve essential services, including lighting, water access, agriculture, healthcare, food security, education, and communication for off-grid communities with a particular focus on projects that improve energy access for women, people with disabilities and those from diverse groups.
Interested businesses, NGOs, community organisations, academic institutions and government agencies from Overseas Development Assistance (ODA)-eligible countries in the Pacific and Timor-Leste are invited to submit a concept note for their off-grid renewable energy solution by 28 April 2025.
